The new Shimano Kairiki 8 is a revamped eight-braid braiding that is produced in Japan and now features a "VT Construction Method" braiding technology. It's a very strong and smooth PE line that's perfect for throwing over long distances. It is available in diameters from 0.06 mm to 0.42 mm with an astonishing breaking strength of 46.7 kg. It has the perfect properties for casting in fresh and salt water, as it is highly sensitive and very soft, which also produces noise reduction. There will also be two additional colors available alongside Mantis Green and Steel Grey, i.e. a highly visible yellow and multi-color. The Multi Color is especially interesting for fishing at greater depths.
