Shimano TLD / TLD II reel
Reel SHIMANO available in two lever brake options of one or two speeds.
The TLD and the TLD II offer a combination of value and history at the height of any competitor. Within the range there are models suitable for salt water resume, bottom fishing or jigging, being the versions of a single speed of small size very popular among freshwater fishers who fish the biggest predators.
Shimano TLD reels immediately stand out as light and versatile models with an incredibly affordable price. Although they do not have the sophistication of their most expensive brothers, their effective simplicity, in lever brake options of one or two speeds, is enormously attractive to fishers of all levels. If you are looking for your first multiplier, or you are an experienced fisherman who wants to expand your arsenal, TLD remains one of the most attractive options for its value and quality, as thousands of fishers from around the world can witness.
The TLD range is built on a reliable composite graphite frame, which is lightweight and corrosion resistant to complement the stainless steel gear. Internally there are four high-quality antico-reel (A-RB) bearings, in addition to a roller bearing, to keep the durable aluminum reel running smoothly in all conditions. Smaller and single-speed TLDs can be used for a wide variety of methods using braid or monkey, both in salt water and in fresh water, while the larger TLD II models (with 2 speeds), have more powerful drags and are more suitable for fishing for larger and more powerful fish.
