Shimano Reel Tyrnos

The Tyrnos and the Tyrnos II (2 speeds) are some of Shimano's fastest lever multipliers, with extra-large gears and an expanded crank length for a larger generation of pairs. For greater versatility, the larger sizes are also available in a 2-speed option (II), with a prestigious boot power.

The 2-speed Tyrnos (II) models, larger, are the perfect reels if you fish in deep oceans against extra large fish. In their fastest configuration they can start lead from the background at a speed of up to 115 cm per turn of crank, but with only pressing a button they become smoothly into impressive crank machines, able to lift the worst conch or the largest shark. However, if you are looking for something lighter to use in jigging fishing, bottom fishing or in the freshwater resume, take a look at the smaller versions of a single speed, which are equal to fast, water large amounts of line (monofilament or braiding) and provide you with a lifetime of pleasure and smooth use.

The Tyrnos is tough enough to support anything that salt water can throw at it. Built on a robust aluminium shaft, with 4 A-RB bearings (antioxidants), extra large stainless steel gears, an aluminum crank with oversized rubber grip, and a huge drag power, is a serious piece. The 2-speed models have continuous gears for a smooth transition and all models have an ultra noisy clicker, as well as a carraca lever brake that makes a reassuring click when adjusted. An additional adjustment command allows you to refine the preset resistance for the coup or the total drag, making sure everything is perfectly adjusted when the battle begins.
